Problem details:
The customer recently reinstalled their system and removed Nero from the factory image. Their DVD drive no longer worked as a DVD drive, but rather as a CD only drive.
Solution details:
I removed the upperfilters and lowerfilters entries in the Registry for the CD drives, rebooted, then performed a test DVD burn and played it afterwards.
